BIOGRAPHY
Theresa Auricchio is the founder and president of AVIsion, also known as AVI Management Group, Inc., a multi-discipline professional services firm specializing in the use of technology to improve communications, intelligence, information sharing, operations, and the bottom line.
She is also CEO of Nine-A, a business unit of AVIsion that focuses on marketing communications, marketing technology, and business development and transformation.
Past Experience
Since 1985, Auricchio has served clients in a wide range of industries including government, education, healthcare, finance, high technology, marketing, and media. Prior to founding AVIsion in 2001, Auricchio worked for several organizations—including Syracuse University, the Gannett Company, and the American Foreign Service Association—before moving on to stabilize and shepherd a mortgage bank through a major acquisition as its VP of Management Information Systems (MIS).
As the CIO at BNFL, Inc. an environmental services engineering firm, she was a key player in acquisitions/mergers and developed a national technology infrastructure and a complex systems architecture that interconnected with subcontractors—including Bechtel—as well as parent company British Nuclear Fuels Limited. She also sat on the international strategy committee for technology that affected nuclear operations in the US, UK, France, and Japan.
While at Merant, an international software company, she was an early adopter of corporate portals, customer intelligence, and enterprise application integration. Auricchio's plan for communications architecture opened new capabilities, channels, and avenues for the company's sales, marketing, and CRM divisions.
